Mode of engagement #4

Mode of Engagement #4- Reflections

1. I'm presenting this idea in a broad manner because I am curious to find out how everyone will interpret it and how they would want to see it develop. Earlier this semester, Stephanie had mentioned something about wanting to work with mirrors. Mirrors/reflective material seem like a great way to communicate the idea of connecting; I feel that it would be a great and inexpensive opportunity to execute this idea. Possibly having a reflective film hover above us through the space, maybe even surrounding us. This can event make a social commentary on narcissism and how it disconnects people from nature/reality. There are so many ways we can work with the idea of mirrors/reflections, I thought that it would be interesting to bring up.

2. As stated above, the reflection of people interacting with nature, thus connecting themselves with the garden or whatever they see in the reflection. // The disconnection of people with nature through narcissism.

4. We can work with everything around us with a reflective material that won't harm any of the greenery. These kind of materials are also inexpensive and can definitely work out with our budget, even if it's large amounts that have to be purchased. Below is an example of a reflective material that can easily mold with whatever you cover it with, work with aerodynamics and wrap around things.
