Modes Of Engagement: Lizzy

2.
Build and install dioramas within the space. The dioramas could "display" the plants that already live in the space. We would just put the diorama display in front of the specific areas. Then set up lighting. Or the dioramas could display specific scenes we would develop and create. The viewer can maybe even step into the diorama itself.

The word diorama means "through that which is seen." "Full-size replica or scale model of a landscape typically showing historical events, nature scenes or cityscapes, for purposes of education or entertainment." I think by putting the plants or scenes on display we can create a almost new way of viewing the garden. We could play with that idea and tweak it to display certain idea we want the viewer to experience or look at. Like if we are making a comment of the way we approach the garden , maybe this is a mode for that.

Thomas Doyle works with small dioramas.

I feel confident that this type of installation/mode of engagement is within our budget. Dioramas can be built  out of wood/paint/ other types of materials.  Can be displayed throughout the yard area.
