This installation takes place in Biscayne Bay, between Miami, North Miami, Miami Shores, and Miami Beach. Eleven islands were chosen to have a floating pink woven fabric floating above the water surrounding the islands. The project went through permits from the the city and government agencies. The construction involved 430 workers to help execute. There was also help from a couple of biologists, engineers, and contractors helped prepare the islands for the project by getting rid of debris and waste.. Miami residents were able to enjoy the installation for two weeks; it was a work of art which underlined the various elements and ways in which the people of Miami live, between land and water.
