Modes of engagement :lizzy

3.

I really liked what emma mentioned about "CREATING SPACES OF OBSERVATION/ reflection / communal spaces (converse) / furniture "

So to touch on that----

A mode of engagement could be creating areas within the grounds that provoke reflection. Maybe we build piece/furniture that share some relationship to the area it is in , maybe a plant near by or the something already existing in the yard. It could be really wonky though, like the furniture really makes you be in the space and have some type of connection flection area.

One of the areas could be up in the tree/or behind a bush...where the viewer would have to really go in and be with the object.

I think Olafur Eliasson does a good job at provoking some feeling of the senese and reflections/experiences in specific works. like this one
